Holly Geraci and Peter Francis Geraci’s Grant Challenge to Help Thresholds

Posted by

The month of March is the Thresholds Grant Challenge.  This challenge is important to mental health awareness considering the potential repeal of  Medicaid expansion.  According to the American Psychiatric Association nearly 30% of people who received mental health treatment were provided insurance from Medicaid expansion. Repealing the expansion of Medicaid could prevent people from receiving mental health treatments or substance abuse treatment.

Treatment facilities can use all the help they can get to advocate on behalf of their clients.  Thresholds recently posted on their facebook page:

“Thresholds has poured more resources than ever into our advocacy efforts on behalf of our clients – most recently we’ve been fighting to maintain Medicaid Expansion, a part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) that covers approximately one-third (5,000) of Thresholds’ clients.

You can help! This month, donations made via www.helphollyhelp.comare matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000 and go directly to Thresholds! Please consider making a $25 donation to help preserve the healthcare benefits that protect and treat our clients. Thank you for supporting Thresholds – our clients, our efforts, and our mission.”

Holly Geraci and Peter Francis Geraci are proud supporters of Thresholds work, helping people suffering from mental health illness and substance abuse.  You can go to http://www.helphollyhelp.com to donate to thresholds.  All donations, up to $10,000, will be matched dollar for dollar by Mr. and Mrs. Geraci.
