For more than 40 years Holly Geraci and Peter Francis Geraci have been donating to nonprofit organizations. Mrs. Geraci already serves on the Women’s Board of the Lincoln Park Zoo. She attends numerous nonprofit functions and is supportive of many organizations. But, in 2016 Holly Geraci wanted to do more. Holly Geraci and her husband, Peter Francis Geraci, organized Helphollyhelp.com.
Helphollyhelp.com is a central location to learn about the charities the Geraci family supports. Organizations helping prevent or treat homelessness, hunger, mental illness, severe conditions and even substance abuse problems are all part of Mr. & Mrs. Geraci’s website. Helphollyhelp.com was organized with the idea of helping organizations, in the community, promote their mission of assisting those in need. To date, Helphollyhelp.com has assisted in raising more than $112,000.
Currently, Mr. and Mrs. are challenging Thresholds in Chicago. Thresholds assists thousands of individuals suffering from mental health problems. Thresholds offers 30 innovative programs at more than 100 locations in Illinois throughout Chicago, surrounding counties and suburbs. According to Threshold’s website, “Everyone should have the opportunity to live a life of value, self-respect, compassion, and dignity. All of our members arrive with untapped potential, full of gifts and skills to develop.” For these reasons, Holly Geraci and Peter Francis Geraci selected Thresholds as the next “Help Holly Help Grant Challenge.” Currently, Thresholds has raised more than $4,000 and with Geracis’ matching, up to $10,000, they have earned more than $8,000. You can donate to the Thresholds challenge by visiting http://www.helphollyhelp.com and donating.
